The Nissan Z GT4 is a race-ready version of the Nissan Z sports car, developed by Nissan's motorsport division, NISMO, for GT4-class competition. Unveiled in September 2022 and debuted publicly at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, it’s designed for both amateur and professional racers, competing in series like the SRO Pirelli GT4 America and Japan’s Super Taikyu Series.

Key Specifications and Features

Engine: Powered by a tuned version of the road-going Z’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 (VR30DDTT), it produces 450 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, a significant boost over the standard Z’s 400 hp and 350 lb-ft. The output is subject to Balance of Performance (BoP) regulations in GT4 racing.

Transmission: Equipped with a six-speed sequential transmission, optimized for racing, unlike the road car’s six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic options.

Chassis and Suspension: The chassis is competition-tuned with a race-specific suspension for enhanced handling and track performance. It includes weight reduction measures, bringing the car to approximately 1,410 kg (3,108 lbs), depending on BoP.

Aerodynamics: Features an aggressive aero package with a front splitter, canards, a large rear wing, and hood vents for improved cooling and downforce. The design balances performance with GT4 regulations.

Wheels and Brakes: Fitted with 18-inch wheels (10.5 inches front, 11 inches rear) wrapped in racing tires, paired with Brembo brakes for superior stopping power.
Interior: Stripped for racing, it includes a roll cage, a single racing seat, a microsuede flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a fire suppression system. The standard Z’s digital gauge cluster and touchscreen are removed to save weight and focus on functionality.

Dimensions: Measures 4,380 mm in length and 1,870 mm in width, optimized for track agility.
